Robocop 2 for NES (Last Updated 7/11/23)

In case you don’t know Robocop 2 is a side-scrolling run ‘n gun and “NES” stands for “Nintendo Entertainment System.” It can be played 1 player or 2 players, but when playing 2 players the 2 players alternate, they don’t play simultaneously.

The different ways you can play this game are: buy the standalone NES cartridge and it should work in any system that plays NES games. Buy the Super Game 500 in 1 Multicart for NES or the Ultimate NES Remix 154 in 1 Multicart for NES (where it’s titled “Robocop 2”) and it works in original NES systems and all Retron systems except the Retron 5 and this is what we have and it works great in our Retron 2. It’s also on the Super Game 400 in 1 Multicart for NES but not on the Super Games 150 in 1 Multicart for NES, The 100 Best Videogames 143 in 1 Multicart for NES, the Unlicensed Collection 142 in 1 Multicart for NES, or the Pocket Games 30 in 1 Multicart for NES. There’s also a Game Boy cartridge version of this game (with the same artwork as the standalone NES cartridge) you can get but the only code we know of for it is different than this code and the Game Boy code does not work for the NES version.

Level Select:
At the title screen set the arrow so it points to “Continue” then hold Up and Right on controller one and hold Down and Left on controller two at the same time and then at the same time press B on controller one. Other game code websites say you can then press B on controller one to cycle through levels 0 through 14 and A to reset the level index back to 0 and that a sound will confirm code triggering after each A or B pressing and that you should select “Continue” to start from the selected level, but every time we try this code it just jumps to the same higher level, not sure which one but higher than the first level, maybe this code works the way other game code websites say with the standalone NES cartridge.
